GRIK: The Sultan of Perak has urged Syariah Courts in the state to expedite the hearing of cases and inform the affected parties when a decision has been made.
Sultan Azlan Shah said this was in line with the clients' charter adopted by the state Syariah Legal Department, which stipulates that the court should fix the hearing date on the same day when a case is registered and it should be mentioned within 21 days.
