4-D ring busted with arrests

MUAR: Police have busted a major illegal four-digit betting syndicate with a weekly collection of nearly RM1mil following the arrest of two men and five women, at a house near Sungai Mati here. 

Johor police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Musa Hassan said the syndicate was believed to have used the house, located in an orchard about 1km from Taman Cerah Indah, Sungai Mati, as a counting centre for the past three months.
