Senior assistant jailed

KUALA LUMPUR: A 54-year-old senior assistant attached to the Education Department in Kota Kinabalu was jailed six years and fined RM19,500 for criminal breach of trust. 

The Anti-Corruption Agency, in a statement, said that a High Court found Mohidin Ismail guilty on three charges involving RM83,807.50 in connection with the Supplementary Food programme for primary schools in Kota Kinabalu.
