MIRI: People living in Sarawak’s deep interior have called on the Education Ministry to be considerate and give room for flexibility and leniency when implementing its mandatory education policy.
The rural folk hope for “special exemption” as they are worried about not being able to comply with such a ruling since they live in very remote areas where there are no schools or boarding facilities.
