TAIPING: The High Court here has rejected a bail application by two men who were ordered to be jailed 20 years each for abetting in the killing of the Perak Raja di-Hilir’s second wife, Hasleza Ishak, in October last year.
Justice Mohd Noor Abdullah, in rejecting the application by bomoh Rahim Ismail, 47, and palace aide Tengku Aristonsjah Mohamad Ansary, 41, for bail pending their appeals, held that there were “no special reasons” to grant bail.
