Among them were Rahah’s elder sister Tun Suhailah, widow of the late Tun Hussein Onn, who was the third Prime Minister, Perak Raja Muda Raja Nazrin Shah and Malaysia’s first woman Cabinet minister Tun Fatimah Hashim.
Also present were Sports and Youth Minister Datuk Hishammuddin Hussein and his wife Tengku Datin Marsila Tengku Abdullah.
Rahah, who was born in Johor on June 11, 1933, married Razak at the age of 18 and gave birth to five sons including Defence Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, who was also present.
After Rahah cut her cake lined with 70 candles, there was a surprise birthday cake for Najib, who turns 50 next month.
