KUALA TERENGGANU: The Housing and Local Government Ministry will be asked to exempt co-operatives that build houses from paying for licence and deposit as required by the Housing Developers Act 2002 (Amendment).
Malaysian Co-operatives Development Department Deputy Director-General (Maintenance) Mohd Yusof Samsudin said the co-operatives were exempted from these payments before the amendment to the Act.
