KUALA LUMPUR: Singapore’s latest probable SARS case is “likely to have contracted the disease in the republic” although he had visited Johor Baru days before he was warded, said the Health Ministry.
Health deputy director-general Datuk Dr Ismail Merican said the 39-year-old surveyor, a Malaysian who is a permanent resident in Singapore, visited Johor on two occasions when he was well.
