Taiwan's prince of R&B wows them all

KUALA LUMPUR: Taiwanese singer-songwriter Jay Chou performed to a full house at the Stadium Merdeka last night, with his audience keeping the atmosphere charged throughout the show with their excitement and rapturous applause.

Every song Chou delivered was greeted with enthusiasm and many in the audience, mostly youngsters, readily sang along with him.

Hailed as Taiwan’s prince of R&B, Chou, who is currently Taiwan’s top male singer and a much-in-demand songwriter, belted all his hits, including the very popular Black Humour.

Kuala Lumpur is the last stop on Chou’s The One World Tour, after his earlier concerts in Hong Kong and Singapore.

The last time Chou performed in a concert here was last February at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium.
