KUALA LUMPUR: Contingency plans are in place for the rerouting or diverting of Malaysia Airlines flights if a war on Iraq breaks out.
Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ling Liong Sik said that while the plans were ready and applications had been submitted to the countries concerned, he was hoping that they would not be necessary.
