Sultan receives award

SHAH ALAM: The Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Tuanku Syed Putra Jamalullail has conferred the Darjah Utama Seri Mahkota Negara (DMN) award on the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, ahead of the latter’s installation and coronation as the ninth Ruler of Selangor on March 8. 

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Mahathir Mohamad presented the award on behalf of the King to Sultan Sharafuddin at a brief ceremony in Istana Bukit Kayangan here yesterday.
