KUALA LUMPUR: The Human Resources Ministry will propose that associations representing small traders who cannot employ foreign workers act on their behalf to apply for the workers.
Minister Datuk Dr Fong Chan Onn said under the proposal, which the ministry would submit to the Cabinet committee on foreign workers, the associations would act as the legal entities to apply for the workers and assign them to the traders.
