KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia is not placing any “permanent asset” on Pulau Batu Puteh but will make its presence felt in the areas surrounding the disputed island, said Defence Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
He said patrolling of the waters close to the island would be done “in a peaceful manner.”
