KUALA LUMPUR: For a man whose career is inextricably linked with combat, listening to Lt Jen (Rtd) Datuk Seri Zaini Mohd Said talk about the evils of war was confounding and yet enlightening for participants of the International Law and Universal Peace Colloquium.
Lt Jen Zaini, hailed as a hero for bringing the Al-Maunah hostage saga in Bukit Jenalik to an end in 2001, said war would not solve problems faced by nations.
