KUALA LUMPUR: The Federal Territory Lower Syariah Court yesterday validated the divorce validation petition of Tun Ghafar Baba against his second wife Heryati Abdul Rahim.
Syariah judge Mohd Naim Mokhtar confirmed the validation order that the couple were divorced through talak satu by way of rajie (a talak which would allow the couple to later reconcile as husband and wife) on Jan 10 at 11.45am.
