KUALA LUMPUR: The Aussies continued their winning ways when Jeff Williams took the Skateboard Park final at the Asian X-Games at the KLCC Park yesterday.

Tomoko winning the bouldering women's finals at the KLCC Park Saturday.

Malaysian skateboarders Mohd Zamri Mohd Ramli and Johary Fitri Khairuddin finished fifth and sixth respectively in the most-watched of yesterday's events.

Victory for 25-year-old Williams came on the heels of another Aussie, Matt Fairbarn, who won the bicycle events on Friday.

Over 5,000 people jammed the Games site to watch athletes compete in the skateboarding, aggressive inline vert, bicycle stunts and bouldering sports categories.

In the bouldering women's finals, Ogawa Tomoko beat 20 others to finish ahead of Korean Kim Shun-jung and Australian Samantha Berry.

In the wakeboarding finals at the Mines Beach Resort and Spa in Seri Kembangan, Thailand's Bunyalo Jumruang, 29, beat eight others to bag the gold.

Second was New Zealander Jeff Wecheral and third was Japanese Masato Takiwa.

Today's events include the finals of the bicycle stunts park, speed climbing and aggressive inline park events.

Non-competitive events include a motocross show.
