KUALA LUMPUR: Representatives of the Malaysian Human Rights Commission (Suhakam) on a visit to Kajang Women’s Prison yesterday found overcrowding of grave concern.
Suhakam commissioner Datuk Prof Mohamad Hamdan Adnan said although women prisoners were well treated and the prison itself was clean, the overcrowding was worrisome.
