KUALA LUMPUR: The People's Progressive Party (PPP) will soon apply for university status for its proposed higher learning centre to be built in Tronoh, Perak, party president Datuk M. Kayveas said yesterday.
He said the ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of the centre, dubbed “Projek Universiti PPP,” would be held on Sunday at Bandar Universiti Sri Iskandar in Tronoh.
