IPOH: Police seized 1.6 million psychotropic pills nationwide last year compared with only 155,767 pills in 2001, said Bukit Aman Narcotics Department director Deputy Commissioner Datuk Mamat Talib.
He said the over nine-fold increase in pills seized was mainly due to raids and arrests, and not because of an increase in distribution.
