WHEN Israel’s prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu took the podium at the United Nations General Assembly last month, dozens of governments walked out of the chamber.

The global opprobrium of Netanyahu and his government is due to Israel’s depraved violence against its Arab neighbours. Netanyahu purveys a fundamentalist ideology that has turned Israel into the most violent nation in the world.
