Trash can be art

AN empty plastic bottle. Is it trash? Or is it raw material for a raincoat, when melted and spun into yarn?

An art competition wants people to recycle waste and to view trash in a new light, by turning it into art works or sculptures. The winning pieces will be exhibited at Frangipani Langkawi Resort & Spa, organiser of the competition.
