Food Forest Forum 2026


Date: April 24 – 26 (9am – 5.30pm)

Venue: UTAR Kampar Campus, Perak

> The forum, co-organised by the Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman Centre for Agriculture and Food Research, Seeds Malaysia, Urban Hijau, Project M.A.R.S. and the Sarawak CSO-SDG Alliance, seeks to consolidate resources for advancing agroforestry initiatives that strengthen food security.

> With the growing global interest in developing tropical food forests, the forum also aims to raise awareness of sustainable agriculture, permaculture, regenerative food systems, eco-education, natural farming, seed saving, and community-based sustainability initiatives.

> It brings together regional practitioners, experts and community growers to share knowledge on tropical farming, agroforestry and indigenous wisdom, with key speakers including practitioners and supporters such as Jon Jandai, Martin Crawford, Geoff Lawton, Dongi Kacaw, Inisiatif Konservasi Hutan Wakaf Acheh, as well as local indigenous knowledge keepers.

> Online participation is available for those unable to attend in person.
