Triple triumph for MSU

Management and Science University (MSU) has been globally recognised for its commitment to sustainability and community engagement.

The varsity was honoured with three prestigious awards at the Triple E Awards – the Green University of the Year, the People Choice Award and the Top Five Engaged University of the Year.

The recent awards, organised by the Netherland’s Accreditation Council for Entrepreneurial & Engaged Universities (ACEEU), was held in Barcelona, Spain, to celebrate universities and institutions worldwide with exceptional dedication to sustainable practices, environmental stewardship, and community engagement initiatives.

The win highlights MSU’s numerous innovative strategies to reduce its carbon footprint, conserve resources, and promote eco-friendly initiatives, through collaborations with local organisations and research institutions, a press release dated July 20 read.

The varsity’s efforts, which include energy efficiency, waste management, water conservation and green transportation, have led to the development of impactful projects that contributed to the country’s sustainable development goals, underscoring its dedication to fostering strong relationships with its local and global communities.
