Of the 300 recipients of zakat duit raya from the bank, 77 were from the School of Education and Social Sciences, 76 from the Faculty of Business Management and Professional Studies, 66 from the Faculty of Information Sciences and Technology, 43 from the School of Hospitality and Creative Arts, 15 from the International Medical School, 11 from the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences and the School of Pharmacy, and one from the Graduate School of Management.

“Their commitment to fostering a culture of philanthropy, embodied by the ‘Giving and Grateful’ campus culture, is truly commendable and transcends beyond racial and ethnic boundaries. We are particularly grateful for their dedication to Tabung Amanah Zakat MSU.”

MSU stands out for its strong network of industry partnerships, with over 2,000 collaborations adopting an industry- embedded learning experience.

This collective strength is demonstrated by their successful partnership with Affin Islamic Bank Berhad, which has flourished for over two decades.

“We are now embracing a non-linear economy, ensuring that our products are secularised and serve multiple purposes to address diverse needs. As Aidilfitri approaches, we aim to alleviate the loads faced by students,” said Affin Bank chairman Musa Abdul Malek.

“In today’s digital revolution, profound knowledge can elevate students to greater heights. I also recommend students enhance their communication skills, both in writing and speaking.

“This university provides the perfect platform and opportunity to hone these skills. Engage in various social activities and strive to improve – this will propel you further and higher.”
