Study technology in Taiwan

> To promote technology exchange between students in Taiwan and the region, the Taiwan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National

Taipei University of Technology (NTUT) are calling for applicants to learn about Taiwan’s advanced science and technology industry under the “New Southbound Policy Short-term Study Programme”.

> The on-campus programme from September 2022 to January 2023 will give students insights into the country’s semiconductor, electronics and mechanics sectors. > The sponsorship offers students a monthly stipend of NTD8,000 (approximately RM1,183), credit fees for major subjects and Chinese language courses, accommodation and other subsidies during their study in Taiwan, as well as expenses for cultural visits and exchange activities related to the programme.

> One direct round-trip economy-class air ticket between Malaysia and Taiwan will also be provided.

> The programme consists of special classes in English.

> Students must complete professional courses and eight hours of Chinese language courses weekly.

> Activities such as business and cultural visits will be arranged to help enrich students’ experience and life in Taiwan.
