Upskilling, reskilling talents

A timely boost: Limkokwing’s partnership with the six associations will result in a more professional and dynamic film industry.

LIMKOKWING University of Creative Technology has pledged to establish a channel for industry practitioners to upskill and reskill themselves to remain in-demand and relevant as the film industry continues its shift towards the digital medium.

To do so, the varsity signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with six Malaysian film industry associations – namely the Professional Workers Association (PROFIMA), Professional Actors Association (Seniman), Film Directors Association of Malaysia (FDAM), Cinematographers Association of Malaysia (MySc), Creative Writers Guild of Malaysia (CGM), and Post Production Association of Malaysia (POSTAM) – to form the Digital Content Education Council.
