Consider making English a compulsory SPM pass

I AM referring to the article, “PPSMI: Implement policy carefully” (The Star, Feb 11).

I was so delighted to hear that the G25 has lent its support to Prime Minister and acting Education Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s suggestion for the Teaching and Learning of Science and Mathematics in English (or better known by its Malay acronym, PPSMI).
