Find solutions, not excuses


Mohamad Sazali says institutions should solve such issues through OKU inclusive policies that are already in place.

If these problems exist in Universiti Malaya (UM), the university management must look into them, Damai Disabled Person Association Malaysia president Murugeswaran Veerasamy said.

As the oldest university in the country, he believes UM should be an example for other universities to facilitate people with disabilities, in terms of accessibility, especially for those who are wheelchair bound and visually impaired.
