AT a recent Newspaper-in-Education (NiE) workshop by The Star, English teacher Mohd Zamri Ismail was shocked to see excellent presentations from boys he had always known to be quite shy.

Published twice monthly on Wednesdays, the colourful 16-page NiE pullout incorporates authentic materials from the newspaper into English language learning. It is written by experienced teachers/specialists and is endorsed by the Education Ministry.
