MUCH of the protest towards the school-based assessment (PBS) has been due to its system of implementation, which requires teachers to key in large amounts of data, also known as “evidence”, into a web-based system.
Teachers say that the system is difficult to log into, is slow and often crashes. This is not surprising, considering the fact that there are large numbers of teachers having to log in on a daily basis.
