Fun with Telugu

THE Telugu Association of Malaysia (TAM) recently held a study camp for Telugu-speaking students at Semenyih, Kajang. This fifth camp saw about 400 participants involved in diverse activities for three weeks.

The students were trained to read and write in Telugu. They were also exposed to the different cultures in Malaysia, religious knowledge, and the role of males and females in the development of the community and country. Camp staff encouraged them to set their minds on futhering their studies up to university level, and to achieve their goals.
