THE Thespians of Metropolitan College, a club dedicated to promoting the performing arts, recently organised Metro Idol 06, a contest aimed at identifying and celebrating new talents at the college.
About 300 students gathered at the concourse during lunchtime and waited, in front of a backdrop decorated with glowing balloons and flashy coloured music notes, to lend support to the Thespians' much-anticipated, first big event this semester.
