IF you wish to learn from experts in the industry, then Brand Executives in Progress (BEIP) training may be just the programme for you.
The training is held over a duration of eight weeks, that is three evenings a week, plus alternative Saturdays.
It complements academic teaching by providing students with the space to experiment so that they can effectively apply what they have learnt in college to the actual process of creating good advertising.
The programme is specially targeted at mass communication, advertising and marketing students.
Led by trainers who are veterans with more than 20 years of experience in the advertising industry, BEIP also teaches students how to deal with situations that are not outlined in textbooks.
Students are challenged to come up with possible solutions to different scenarios and to evaluate ideas for effectiveness.
They are also encouraged to participate in discussions to deepen their understanding of how to practise effective advertising.
Training sessions are held at 95% Trainings, located at 80A, Wisma Dicklin, Jalan Bangsar.
The company was set up in 2004 by Peter Gan and Janet Lee.
An overview of the training will be held on Nov 11, from 3pm to 5pm.
Admission is free.
