I WOULD like to talk about the attitude of many students today. I do not wish to criticise the present education system because I am also a “product” of this system. I just want to highlight some of its defects because I feel that, nowadays, it is producing many students with unhealthy mindsets.
I have met many so-called high achievers who are smart and intelligent but do not have the right attitude towards learning. They are only eager to know whether topics taught are coming out in examinations or not. Are we learning to excel in examinations only? Is this the right attitude towards learning?
