THE International Placement of Headteachers (IPH) programme, which saw principals from 10 schools in the United Kingdon (UK) shadowing their counterparts in Sabah for eight days as part of an experience exchange exercise, proved to be an effective mechanism for the sharing of best practices between school heads from both Malaysia and the UK.
It also provided principals with the opportunity to observe, communicate, interact and work with their counterparts on issues such as raising school standards, teaching approaches, student learning and assessment.
