I AGREE with the letter entitled “Broad-based education better” (StarEducation, Oct 2), that the Malaysian education system is too exam-oriented and rigid.
As a former student, I was unhappy in Form Four and Five due to streaming where I was not only made to take subjects I dislike but also unable to choose subjects I had interest in.
