E-security scholarships

EC-Council Academy Malaysia recently presented its inaugural “Tan Sri Dato’ Dr Hj Yahaya Ibrahim” scholarship for e-Business and IT Security programmes to four successful candidates. 

They are EPIC-I Sdn Bhd’s administrative CSA Help-Officer Elamaran Raganathan, Boustead IT’s customer support officer Dzulkarnain Mustapha, Telekom Smart School Sdn Bhd’s Maniselvan Nadarajah and student Mohamed Ali Sham.  

“We introduced this scholarship to provide educational opportunities to the needy and the academically deserving. The scholarship aims to contribute towards the development of the e-Business and IT security industry through skills development,” said recently appointed EC-Council Academy chairman Tan Sri Dr Yahaya Ibrahim.  

He said the response was encouraging and showed that there are many people keen to develop their professional skills and knowledge in e-business and IT security.

Meanwhile, Asia Pacific regional director Wilson Wong said: “The programmes offered at EC-Council Academy provide added advantage to students and working adults entering the job market or hoping to move up the corporate ladder. Skills in e-business and IT security skills allowed them to enhance efficiency and productivity.”
