Making every ringgit count


ONE ringgit from each undergraduate. That is the target set by the Higher Education Ministry for its Higher Education Institutions (IPT) Tsunami Disaster Fund.  

Higher Education Minister Datuk Dr Shafie Mohd Salleh said that he is appealing to all undergraduates in private and public higher education institutions to donate at least RM1 per student to relieve the suffering of tsunami victims. The Fund was set up on Dec 30 last year and has collected over RM300,000. The target is RM1mil.
