A boost for biotechnology


BIOTECHNOLOGY has been identified by the Malaysian Government as one of five core technologies that will accelerate Malaysia’s transformation and leapfrog her to highly industrialised nation status by 2020.  

In a move to align itself with the biotechnology revolution, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (Utar) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Malacca State Government in a ceremony officiated by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.
