SUNWAY College has been upgraded and will now be known as Sunway University College after receiving approval from the Higher Education Ministry to award its own degrees.
Higher Education Minister Datuk Dr Shafie Mohd Salleh presented the official letter of approval to Sunway Group chairman Tan Sri Jeffrey Cheah before a press conference during the launch of the National Patriotic Day celebrations here recently.
