THE letter, “Rethink Education System” (StarEducation, Dec 21) by Ashraff Sanusi made several valid points concerning the Malaysian education system. It is undeniable that our education system is exam-oriented.
Moreover, it is lamentable that despite various government initiatives, creative and critical thinking is not nurtured or developed in our schools to any significant degree.
