Bright, articulate, curious and certainly engaging. These were some of the characteristics of the young sparks behind the class newspapers that were entries in the Best School Newspaper Awards 2003 recently.
Some of the content had the panel of judges calling out to each other, “hey, listen to this?”, laughing or reading intently. Although the main stay was school and community goings-on, there were thought-provoking articles as well as school polls on current issues affecting students.
