STANDING on a table, a young man had an egg in his outstretched hand. He was about to drop it more than two metres down into a small contraption consisting mostly of aluminium foil, drinking straws, cling film and rubber bands.
He and his team had to execute two successful egg-drops in front of everyone. And the point of the exercise? For students to learn how to work effectively with team members in order to achieve a common goal.
