Polish engineer gets Master's at age 80

POLISH engineer Kazimiera Wojcikowska made a long cherished dream come true Tuesday when she passed her final oral exam to be awarded a Master's degree at the age of 80, PAP news agency reported. 

Her subject was the corrosion of steel structures. Wojcikowska completed her diploma at the same university where, in 1969, she began reading for the course.
