Parents lie about kids' trips abroad
REPORTS of parents who were caught lying about their children's trips to SARS-hit areas have prompted Singapore schools to seek the help of border police in checking whether travel declaration forms are true. The move to keep schools safe from SARS came amid reports of a few cases of parents making false declarations. Principals are also checking students' passports and immigration records to make sure they match what is declared in the forms.
