THE University of Nottingham in Malaysia (UNiM) will have a new vice-president from September. Dr Brian Atkin, who heads the School of Chemical, Environmental and Mining Engineering at Nottingham University in Britain, will take up the post, succeeding Prof Brian Clayton, who is retiring. 

Prof Clayton who is the current CEO and vice-president, says Dr Atkin will lead the university as it moves into its new campus near Semenyih, Selangor, by September 2005.
