THE Penang Girl Guides Association staged a one-day ‘Free Being Me’ programme at its headquarters in Jalan Air Itam for the first time to help young girls overcome beauty-related anxieties.

Malaysia Girl Guides Association chief commissioner Normala Baharudin said the programme was mooted by the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts and Dove Self-Esteem Project.
