SIBU: The action by SUPP Sibu branch in calling for the renaming of Lau King Howe Road from Jalan Hospital has drawn flak from many quarters, this time from UPP (United Peoples Party) New Generation Team.
Speaking at a press conference yesterday, the group said SUPP Sibu branch had played up the issue in order to gain political mileage without being concerned about the sensitivities which this issue has caused.
