SIBU: Disabled persons will have their monthly assistance from the Welfare Department increase by RM50 next year.
Welfare, Women and Family Development Minister Datuk Fatimah Abdullah, speaking at the 39th open house-cum food and funfair of the Sarawak Society for the Blind, Sibu Division Branch, yesterday, said the increased assistance was made possible due to better allocation under Budget 2015.
