KOTA KINABALU: A decision to focus on producing energy efficient vehicles (EEV) is paying off for national car manufacturer Perodua with Malaysian motorists now having to pay more for fuel.
Perodua chairman and chief executive Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh said the company had received more than 28,000 bookings for its first EEV, the Axia, since its launch last month.
